Scotty is a thirteen year old grade gelding standing thirteen two hands and stocky built. This guy rides just like daddy’s big horse. He has a true one-hand neck rein, smooth short lope, big stop and goes wherever you point him. He is like a big ranch horse in a more convenient sized package. He is the perfect size and age for most riders. He has been used around cattle, seen lots of miles of countryside and even rides nicely in the arena. We have ridden him both English and Western. He has smooth, easy going gaits and will tuck up to a pleasure type jog trot or extend out for the English riders. He would make an excellent 4H prospect, open/fun show pony or simply enjoy a nice ride out on the trails with him. He is gentle to be around and handle. He is good around traffic/farm equipment/dogs etc. Scotty crosses water/logs/ditches etc. He walks right out and will keep up with the big horses and go all day long. A super fun guy to own and ride.
