I am so glad we found this place! We bought a beautiful, well mannered, and perfect mare for our family. We were able to ride several different horses before making our choice. We purchased our 4th horse from Katy this Sunday June 1st. I called her and told her what I wanted and when we got there she had about 7 different horses to choose from. I asked her a few questions about each one and she was very honest and up front with all her answers. I completely trust everything Katy tells us. I only buy from Katy because they always work out ,are they perfect no but with time they will be a perfect horse. She tells you everything about the horse and then you have to go from there. There may be a little quirk that you will have to work out but give it a chance everyone rides different and does things different and they are animals after all. You just cant beat Katy when buying a horse. I highly recommend her to anyone.

Growing up in rural Wisconsin, Katy’s name is one you hear from the time you start paying attention… it’s easy to join the negative people and bash people, it’s also just as easy to meet and work with the person yourself and grow your own perspective. The day this baby was posted, I knew I had to have him. I sent a message and within a week was going to meet him… I bought him as soon as I saw him with the agreement to pick up at weaning. Katy’s building was clean, beautiful, and all animals were well kept. My experience was nothing but amazing with her. Communication was beyond amazing, with monthly updates as I requested. This baby is quiet, built, and healthy. So, moral of this post… believe whatever you want, but until you try for yourself, take it with a grain of salt.
Emma is a coming four year old grade blue roan percheron/quarter horse cross mare standing just over fifteen two hands. This mare has been used at the cow sales to pen back cattle, has been roped off of there and drug everything from little calves to big bulls. She has also seen lots of miles of outside riding. She has been ridden down the road, across water, through ditches, up/down the hills, along the main highway and all over the farm. She is also in foal to a dun roan draft cross stallion for a foal next spring. This mare just hit a growth spurt and is in her gangly stage, but has a big frame and will be chunky when she matures and fills out. She smacked her head when she got halter broke and it resulted in her skin around her left eye sort of sagging a bit so her left eye does sink in some and doesn't appear as open, but the vet said her eye looks good right now and isn't showing any lose of vision etc. It's not super noticeable and doesn't seem to bother her in any way but will go with her. This mare has a huge foot/bone and is that gorgeous blue roan color. She has a smooth, pretty trot and canter. She picks up her leads, stops nice and is starting to turn around fancier. She is a nice performance prospect or you can use her as a broodmare, trail ride her or make her into an eye catching driving horse. The possibilities are endless. Robin is an eight year old grade sorrel mare standing roughly fourteen two hands and THICK! This mare is super cute with her shiney sorrel color, flaxen mane/tail, little head and chrome. Robin will trot and lope nice, correct circles in the arena. She is starting to bend at the poll and want to ride around fancier. She has some athleticism and wants to have a big stop. Robin is a great age and size for someone to take her in any direction that they choose. Robin has seen lots of outside trail miles. She will ride off both by herself and in a group. She crosses water/logs/ditches etc. She is used to dogs/traffic/farm equipment etc. She would look great under English tack as well. Would be a really nice 4H, open show, hus and all-around using prospect. She has ridden off well after sitting. Best suited for confident advanced beginner-intermediate rider on up as she is soft broke and easy to get to go etc. A nice young mare whose ready to hit the trails or get finished fancier in a performance home. Riata is a coming five year old mare standing thirteen hands. She is cute headed, has plenty of chrome and roan hairs throughout her body. She has a super solid foundation both in the arena and on the trails. She will cross water/logs/ditches etc. Riata will ride off by herself and in a group. She is starting to neck rein, vend at the poll and move off leg pressure. She trots and lopes correct circles in the arena. Riata also has had lots of trail riding miles cross country. We have ridden her bridleless, along the highway, up and down the hills, through the woods and she she just trucks along all day. This mare could be even fancier broke without a lot of work as she is very smart and willing. This mare is the perfect size, age and riding foundation for someone to take her in any direction that they choose. She is gentle to be around and handle. She isn't easily phased. I'd suggest for advanced beginner-intermediate rider as she is easy to get to go and too soft broke for a very first time pony, but if they have some riding experience and are ready to move up then she's your girl! She would be absolutely adorable under English tack as well. This is a super nice quality mare with her whole life ahead of her. ♥️I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS GUY ♥️
Clyde will be four this coming spring, but don't let his age fool you as he has a mentality better than most three times his age. He is as good of natured, smart, friendly and trustworthy of a young horse as I've ever owned. He is absolutely adorable in person and standing fourteen hands he looks just like a miniature version of a Clydesdale. He is a Clydesdale pony cross. Previous owner docked his tail. Clyde is well broke to both ride and drive! He has the most laid back, gentle and easy going personality. Clyde loves people and will let you walk right up to him in the biggest pastures. We have let him sit for months and pulled him out and he both rode and drove right off like an old seasoned citizen. We have driven him all over the farm, down the main roads/highway, under overpasses, right alongside semi's and big farm equipment and he was excellent. We have also trail ridden along the highway, over logs, through water, through ditches and up and down the hills. Clyde will also trot and lope circles in the arena and has a cool short lope! He would make an excellent lesson, therapy, 4H and all-around riding and driving horse. He has been ridden bareback, double and been crawled all on and could care less. We have even started to teach him to lay down on command. If I wasn't trying to cut down on my personal horses I don't know if I'd let this one go. He is definitely one of a kind.

Bonnie is a fifteen year old grade thoroughbred mare standing just over fifteen hands. She has a ground covering walk, nice trot/canter, and will go wherever you point her. She will trot and canter correct circles in the arena and has a nice stop. She crosses water/logs/ditches etc. Bonnie is good around dogs/traffic/farm equipment etc. She is a great size and age. Would make a nice 4H prospect. She is best suited for confident advanced beginner-intermediate rider on up as she is easy to get to go etc. She isn't mareish and is gentle to be around. Would look great in English tack as well. She has ridden off after sitting without any funny business. Take and trail ride her or make her your next performance prospect. Zippo Hawk Bar affectionately known as Hawk is a four year old registered APHA gray overo gelding. This guy is absolutely stunning in person! He is way thicker made than these pictures show. Hawk has one blue eye and one brown eye, big dapples, cute headed, big boned, tons of chrome and is correct made. He currently stands just over fifteen hands. Don't let his age fool you, this guy acts better than most twice his age. He has ridden off the same after sitting and has a great disposition. Hawk will walk, trot and lope circles in the arena and take his correct leads. He has a nice stop and we have ridden him double, roman style standing up on him and have even ridden him bridleless! He has seen lots of outside trail miles as well. He crosses water/logs/ditches etc. He is used to dogs/traffic/farm equipment etc. He will ride off by himself and in group. He is perfectly content leading the pack or following along in the back of the group. He has the brain, build, athleticism and solid foundation to be taken in any direction someone chooses. I think he would look gorgeous under English tack as well! Hawk is a pretty mover and has all the eye appeal you could ask for. He would make a nice barrel, roping, hus, 4H and all-around using gelding or have one of the most unqiue horses at the trail rides. Badger is an eleven year old gray and white paint gelding standing roughly thirteen two hands and thick made. He has gorgeous paint coloring and one blue eye. If you're looking for a large pony that will ride like daddy or mommy's big horse then look no further! This guy neck reins, picks up his leads, has a big stop, and has a ground covering ranch horse type walk. He is too broke and soft for a very beginner but a confident advanced beginner-intermediate youth or adult would love him. He would make a jam up roping, barrel racing, 4H, hus and all-around using prospect. He has ridden off the same after sitting. He is a great size and age. This guy has athleticism, brains and a the foundation needed for someone to take him in any direction that they choose. He will trail ride all day long and knows what a long days riding is. He will cross water/logs/ditches etc. He is good around dogs/traffic/farm equipment etc. He is a really unique gelding with a bright future.
