Martha is a sixteen year old grade haflinger mare standing fourteen hands and thicker than a snicker!! She is babydoll headed, kind eyed, thick made, big boned and pretty as she can be. This mare is well broke to both ride and drive. She has been hooked to all types of farm equipment, wagons and buggy. We have driven her all over the farm, down the roads, under the highway and she did great. She is good around traffic/farm equipment/dogs etc. We have also trail ridden her many miles. My friends daughters rode her both single and we have ridden her double down the trails. She crosses water/logs/ditches etc. She will ride by herself and in a group. She rides in the arena and will trot and lopes circles, but enjoys the leisurely life better. She has ridden off the same after sitting. We have ponied other horses off of her, halter broke colts with her and she didn’t mind. She is good in herd and hasn’t acted mareish for us. She is good to saddle/harness/tie/trailer etc. A super cute mare who is enjoyable to both ride and drive.
