Holly is a fifteen year old grade mare standing just shy of fourteen three hands. She is absolutely gorgeous in person with her golden palomino color, big dapples, and all the chrome you could ask for! This mare will ride both in the arena and out on the trails. She will trot/lope correct circles in the arena. She has ridden off the same after sitting. Holly is content to ride by herself or in any position in a group. She crosses water/logs/ditches etc. She has had wildlife, dogs, traffic etc all around her and could care less. We have ridden her bareback in a halter. She is a great size and age. We have had every level of rider on her without issues. She has a shortened stride on her back legs due to Fibrotic myopathy. Mechanical, nonpainful gait abnormality. Caused by a muscle tear in the past that heals with scar tissue. She is perfectly fine to run and trail ride and use as you normally would any horse. Holly has a laid back disposition and turns heads wherever she goes. A great one for someone who doesn’t have a lot of time to ride and wants one they can pull out weeks later and just go enjoy themselves on. We have pulled the kids in the wagon behind her, throw horse ball all around her and crawled all over her without issues. Super solid mare with all the looks to boot!
