Boone is a grade eleven year old gelding standing fourteen two hands and thick made. These pictures dont begin to accurately showcase how thick he is in person. We have owned this horse for over a year and have used him to rope colts, pony off of, at the cow sales penning back cows, to check pastures and other tasks. He is a using horse and loves having a job. He has a ground covering walk, stamina to last all day and a ready to work attitude. He has seen lots of miles of countryside and trails. Boone will go wherever you point him from the deepest creek to the thickest brush. He is good around dogs/traffic/farm equipment etc. He will ride by himself and in a group. He would make an excellent endurance, ranch, roping and all-around using gelding. He is a great size and age with big bone/foot and plenty of shape. Boone has always pulled out and ridden right off whenever we have decided to use him. He has a big motor when asked and is light to leg/rider pressure so best suited for a confident intermediate rider on up.
