Autumn is a fifteen year old grade bay roan mare standing fourteen three hands. This mare is extra gentle to ride and goes anywhere you point her. We have used her in our lesson program for the beginner riders and she did wonderful. She had been sitting for a time and we saddled her right up and put her in the lesson program right after as she rode right off like she had been being ridden every day. We have used her for the first time riders and she is so patient with them. She has pushed the horse ball around, had flags around her, been over the tarp, crawled all over and took all weird and crazy things we have thrown at her in stride. She is more whoah than go but will trot and canter when asked. She will trot and lope circles in the arena, neck reins, stops easily and aims to please her rider. Autumn is a trail horse deluxe as well. She crosses water/logs/ditches etc. She will be the type you can drop your reins on, drink a beverage of your choice and enjoy a ride with your friends. She has a superficial scar on one hip by the tail head that doesn’t bother her. Autumn will pin her ears when you saddle her and act grumpy but don’t let it intimidate you she just has an attitude about being saddled, but is super sweet otherwise.
